New Zealand Feature Film Showing at DC Independent Film Festival

The New Zealand film 3 Mile Limit will show at this month’s DC Independent Film Festival. It’s the first New Zealand feature film to be selected by DCIFF, and one of just nine in this year’s festival. This is the true story of the birth of private/pirate radio in heavily regulated 1960s New Zealand (Radio Hauraki – named after the beautiful stretch of water off Auckland and still broadcasting today!) Reviewers love the film, with one describing it as The Commitmentsmeets Whale Rider! There will be a post-screening Q&A with cast member Matt Whelan.
