CANZPS bids a fond farewell to our Fall 2012 visitors, New Zealand Fulbright Scholar, Holly Thorpe, and Senior New Zealand Fulbright Scholar, Jennifer Curtin. We are grateful for Dr. Thorpe’s and Dr. Curtin’s contributions to CANZPS during their all too brief time with us. It is always hard to say good-bye to our scholars and we are always richer for having known them.
We look forward to welcoming two New Zealand Fulbright Scholars in Spring 2013. Scott Wilson, Senior Lecturer and Program Director in the Department of Performing and Screen Arts at the Unitec Institute of Technology in Auckland, New Zealand, will teach a course on New Zealand film and national identity. Stephen Jacobi, Managing Director of Jacobi Consulting, an organization that offers strategic advice to corporate and government clients, in both New Zealand and overseas, in the fields of international trade, government relations and industry development, will conduct research on trade policy while at CANZPS.
