CANZPS To Welcome Debra Wilson in Fall 2014

CANZPS is excited to welcome New Zealand Fulbright Scholar Debra Wilson, Ph.D. as a visiting research scholar and professor at Georgetown in fall 2014. Dr. Wilson is a senior lecturer at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand and has a master’s in law with first class honors from University of Canterbury, and a Ph.D. from Monash University. Her main research area is medical law and she has an outstanding record of publications in leading international journals, as well as chapters in two books and two books of her own.

Dr. Wilson is scheduled to teach a course at Georgetown on Comparative and International Medical Law and Ethics in the fall of 2014. We are very pleased that Dr. Wilson will be based at the Center in 2014 to do research on genetics and criminal justice and teach this course.
