David Eggleston Awarded APSA Congressional Fellowship

The American Australian Association is awarding Mr. David Eggleston the 2013 American Political Science Association (APSA) Congressional Fellowship. The APSA Fellowship elicited keen interest from a highly competitive pool of applicants from top Australian government and private sector entities.

David Eggleston is currently employed by the Australian Government in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, United States Trade Section. He is also completing his part time Masters of Public Policy at the Australian National University. David has a Bachelors Degree in Economics and Law from Macquarie University, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law University of Technology. Prior to joining the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, David held various positions at Qantas Airlines.

Founded in 1953, the APSA Congressional Fellowship Program is the nation’s oldest and most prestigious congressional fellowship. APSA Congressional Fellowship supports individuals from a broad range of expertise who seek to gain an understanding of the US legislative process through working on Capitol Hill with Congressional staff.
