The New Zealand Embassy, Washington, D.C. is offering an internship to work with the Trade and Economic division. The overall purpose of this position is to allow US students to learn about New Zealand, its foreign and trade policy interests, and the New Zealand-United States relationship by participating in the daily activities of the Embassy.
The internship runs from mid-January to May 2018. The role will be with the Trade and Economic division so students with an interest in international trade will particularly benefit from this internship. Preference is given for students enrolled in the CANZPS certificate or the Walsh School, but students with broader interests including foreign and trade policy, communications and public affairs will also be considered.

Interns will be expected to make a commitment to work 8-10 hours a week at the Embassy. A small stipend of US$500 is provided.
