The Honorable Robert Underwood is a former member of the U.S. Congress and is currently the President of the University of Guam. He is a distinguished scholar with many publications to his credit on educational issues, regional political matters, and language change.

U.S. Congressperson Amata Coleman Radewagen will make the introduction. 

The Peter Tali Coleman Lecture on Pacific Public Policy honors the legacy of Peter Tali Coleman, the first person of Samoan descent to be appointed Governor of American Samoa and who later became the territory's first popularly elected governor.  He earned his law degree from Georgetown University.
